We’re looking for our Co-Founder GTM & B2B Acquisition
For nearly two years, we’ve been building Publishmark, a platform that wants to transform how companies work with video creators: from brief to production, to performance analysis.
Today, the product exists. The architecture is in place. The first AI components are developed. The product vision is clear.
But there remains the most important question for a startup: Does the market really want what we’ve built?
This is precisely where we need our third co-founder.
Your Mission
Take charge of Go-to-Market and transform Publishmark into a real business.
In the coming months, your objective won’t be to manage an existing Growth team or optimize an existing funnel. It doesn’t exist yet. You’ll have to build it.
Specifically, you’ll be responsible for:
- Identifying ICPs and segments where Publishmark has the best chance of finding Product-Market Fit
- Defining and testing our Go-to-Market strategy
- Building our commercial approach and first acquisition channels
- Identifying the right contacts and securing first meetings
- Prospecting, convincing, and closing first pilot projects
- Progressively building the pipeline and sales process
- Analyzing prospect and customer feedback to understand what truly creates value
- Working directly with other founders to transform learnings into product and business decisions
- When the model starts working, building the first components of a real Revenue machine
Your role will be to find how Publishmark can sell, to whom, why, and at what scale.
The Profile We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who has already faced a much more difficult situation than growth: starting with a product and finding the first customers.
You may come from B2B SaaS, Sales, Business Development, GTM, B2B Marketing, MarTech, AdTech, Creator Economy…
What interests us most is what you’ve actually built.
Ideally, you’re someone who:
- Knows how to sell without waiting for a sales process to exist
- Knows how to go from hypothesis to experimentation
- Loves talking to customers as much as analyzing data
- Knows how to build an ICP rather than simply receiving a target
- Is capable of questioning positioning if the market doesn’t respond
- Understands that a sales ‘no’ is sometimes product information
- Knows how to work with a product founder and a technical founder
- Is capable of making decisions with little data
- Wants to build a company, not simply occupy a position
Successful experience in an early-stage B2B startup is a real plus. Direct sales experience to companies is also valuable.
This Position Is Probably Not For You If…
You’re primarily looking for:
- A Head of Growth position with an already-built team
- An acquisition budget to spend
- An existing funnel to optimize
- A primarily communication or marketing-oriented role
- An organization with already-established processes
- A position where objectives are defined by someone else
At Publishmark, the terrain is still to be built. And that’s precisely what makes this adventure interesting.
The Team
Today, Publishmark rests on two co-founders:
Product / Business / Vision – I carry the vision, product, and business development of Publishmark.
Tech – Our technical co-founder pilots the architecture and platform development.
Today we’re missing the third pillar: GTM / Revenue. A person capable of taking the market in hand and building, with us, the next stage of Publishmark.
What We Offer
This is not a permanent employment contract. It’s not a freelance mission. And it’s not a consultant position.
We’re looking for a true partner.
Capital entry will be progressive, with a defined trajectory around commitment, responsibilities, and company development stages.
The objective is simple: build a co-founder relationship for the long term, not hire an employee.
Where?
Ideally in Lille. Hybrid or remote work is possible. What matters more to us: commitment, autonomy, ability to move forward, and desire to build.
If reading this job posting makes you think: ‘I’m not looking for a job. I want to build something. And I know how to find the first customers.’ Then let’s talk.
