Financial Analyst (Shipping Industries)

What You Will Do

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management reports, reconcile local figures with management group numbers, lead the annual budget and regular forecasts, build and maintain financial models, track KPIs, and run cost allocations.

Two to four years of professional experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), management reporting or a similar finance role, excellent academic records from a top-tier university, and proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Requirements

• Two (2) to four (4) years of professional experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), management reporting or a similar finance role
• Previous experience in a relevant role at a consulting firm and/or industry
• Excellent academic records from a top-tier Greek or foreign university, in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
• Practical use of AI tools to speed up analysis, reporting and everyday tasks
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn large data sets into clear insights for management
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• A proactive, improvement-driven mindset, always looking for ways to simplify and automate manual work
• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
• Commitment to excellent quality work and to building strong relationships with internal teams and stakeholders
• Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and professional manner (both in English and Greek)
