Senior Data Analyst/ Data Engineer

Role Overview

The position plays a crucial role in analyzing business data, planning, and managing data assets to serve PnLs in the company. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing data from various business fields, identifying needs, gaps, and directing data planning.

What You Will Do

Analyzing data and business from various fields/PnLs, identifying trends, issues, needs, and opportunities from data to support decision-making. Building and standardizing data assets, metadata, KPI/Metric, Business Glossary, and data management standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields
• At least 5 years of experience in data analysis/business analytics, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead position
• Proficient in SQL to query, process, and analyze large data sets
• Experience in using Power BI or similar BI tools in data analysis and visualization
• Deep understanding of data models, Data Warehouse, Data Lake, Data Mart, and ETL/ELT processes
• Knowledge of Python, Data Engineering, or cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage
• Knowledge of data asset management, metadata, data quality, and data lifecycle
• Ability to build and apply data management standards, processes, and updates
• Understanding of data ownership, data stewardship, data access, and data security principles
