Senior Manager, Communications

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and results-driven leader to partner closely with our team to help execute our enterprise-wide communications strategy. As the Senior Manager of Communications, you will play a critical role in shaping how the world sees Rayonier.

You will be responsible for strategic and executive communications, external and media relations, content creation, and creative production.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
• 5–8 years of progressive communications experience, preferably within natural resources, forestry, or related industrial sectors
• Proven ability to identify storytelling opportunities and manage multiple complex communication projects and deadlines effectively
• Mastery of writing, editing, proofreading, and multimedia storytelling
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is preferred
• Solid experience in media relations, community engagement, and supporting crisis/issues management
• Demonstrated success designing internal communications that connect office-based, remote, and field-based teams
