Marketing Automation Engineer / Lifecycle Ops – Klaviyo

Role Overview

We are looking for a freelance Automation / CRM Engineer in French to strengthen the CRM technical team. This is a technical operations role where you will think in events, properties, triggers, and edge cases. You will be the technical back-office operator, making Klaviyo, ReCharge, Skio, and Shopify run smoothly without a hitch.

What You Will Do

Your main responsibilities will be building complex conditional flows in Klaviyo, debugging Shopify → Klaviyo integrations, performing technical QA, and maintaining APIs and data coherence.

We are looking for someone with a reflex to diagnose a problem and fix it, rather than waiting for someone else to do it. You should have a natural technical logic and be able to reason in if/then conditions. You should also be meticulous about precision and communicate clearly in writing.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years in a technical role (dev, data, solutions/implementation, no-code, CRM ops technical)
• natural technical logic
• ability to read an API doc and diagnose a sync that fails
• ability to build a complete automation (trigger → conditions → actions)
• use of Claude in daily workflow
• communication skills in writing (Slack, async)
