Marketing Automation Engineer / Lifecycle Ops – Klaviyo

Role Overview

We are looking for a freelance Automation / CRM Engineer (Klaviyo) who is fluent in French, to work full-time remotely, to strengthen our technical CRM team. This is not a marketing role. No copy, no design, no editorial calendar, no client contact. It’s a technical retention role: you think in events, properties, triggers, and edge cases.

What You Will Do

You will build complex conditional flows in Klaviyo, debug Shopify ↔ Klaviyo integrations, perform technical QA, and maintain APIs and data coherence.

Requirements

• Fluency in French
• 1 to 3 years in a technical role (dev, data, solutions/implementation, no-code, CRM ops technical)
• Natural technical logic: you reason in if/then, nested conditions don’t scare you
• Ability to read an API doc (GET/POST/webhooks) and diagnose a sync that fails
• Ability to build a full automation (trigger → conditions → actions) on Klaviyo or another tool
• Meticulous about precision: you double-check, test, and when an error passes, you put a safeguard to prevent it from coming back
• Use of Claude daily in your workflow (debug, doc, logic segment generation)
• Clear communication in writing (Slack, async)
