Data Analyst (AI)

Role Overview

Reef is looking for an AI-forward analytics professional who turns business questions into answers people trust. You will work with leaders across real estate, hospitality, investments, and membership to define the metrics that matter, then build the dashboards and analysis yourself in Reef Analytics, our internal analytics application.

What You Will Do

You will drive your work from the first question to the finished dashboard, using AI agents and coding tools like Claude to get there faster than you thought possible. Work that used to take an analyst weeks takes hours here.

Why It Might Be a Fit

If you’ve been building with Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools, great. If you haven’t yet but you’re eager to work this way, and you bring strong SQL and data visualization instincts, you’ll thrive here.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or related fields
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
• Experience building dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or a similar BI tool
• Solid knowledge of SQL for querying and manipulating data
• Familiarity with enterprise applications such as Salesforce, Microsoft 365, HubSpot, and data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS S3, data lakes like Microsoft Fabric)
• Experience in data modeling, creating data dictionaries, and defining business metrics
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and business audiences
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment
• Familiarity with project management basics (e.g., Kanban, Agile/Scrum, Waterfall) and tools like Jira
