Senior Data Scientist position at LexisNexis Legal & Professional, working on AI, GenAI, and RAG solutions for business delivery projects, with responsibilities including designing, developing, and deploying machine learning and GenAI solutions in production environments, building and optimizing Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines, fine-tuning and evaluating Large Language Models, and implementing scalable ML pipelines using Python.

Requirements

  • 6-8 years of experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Python
  • Machine Learning (supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP)
  • Generative AI (LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings)
  • RAG architecture and vector search
  • Model evaluation and validation frameworks
  • ML & AI Tools (LangChain / LlamaIndex, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace, Vector databases)
  • Data & Infrastructure (SQL, AWS, Azure, GCP, CI/CD, Model tracking tools)
  • Good to Have (Experience in legal, regulatory, or publishing domains, Model monitoring and MLOps, Fine-tuning techniques, Multi-agent frameworks)
