Data Scientist I

Role Overview

The Data Scientist I supports internal AI and analytics initiatives by applying foundational AI, data science, statistical, and programming skills to solve well-defined business problems.

What You Will Do

Develops and evaluates statistical, machine learning, and AI models using appropriate performance metrics, conducts hypothesis testing, time series analysis, and basic causal or experimental analysis to assess impact and identify trends.

Requirements

• Skilled at programming in Python in data science, AI, and statistical analysis settings.
• Proficient with relational databases and the ability to write SQL queries.
• Preferred experience working with cloud-based data platforms and infrastructure, such as Snowflake and AWS, to support analytics, AI, and data science workflows.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and basic collaborative development practices.
• Familiarity with AI-based coding assistants like GitHub CoPilot, Cursor, Claude Code.
• Knowledge of Excel and PowerBI.
