Role Overview
The Senior Inside Sales Representative is responsible for proactive inside telephone or email sales and marketing efforts to increase profitable sales. The role involves establishing and maintaining customer relationships, processing quotes and orders, and prospecting for additional organic growth from existing customers. The Senior Inside Sales Representative will work in a team environment, utilizing company digital tools to sell, market, promote, and demonstrate products. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of products and applications, as well as excellent communication, presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
What You Will Do
The Senior Inside Sales Representative will process telephone orders, assist outside sales personnel, and utilize company digital tools to sell, market, promote, and demonstrate products. The role involves prospecting for new accounts, managing a defined customer base, and establishing and maintaining customer relationships. The Senior Inside Sales Representative will also gather and report information regarding the company, competitors, pricing, products, and current and future market trends.

Requirements
- 4+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience
- High School or GED – Required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and relevant ERP systems and Customer Relation Management Tools (CRM)
- Ability to handle complex issues and problems
- Comprehensive product and application knowledge essential
- Ability to exhibit a positive, friendly, and helpful attitude with customers and to be sensitive to their needs
- Customer oriented and motivated with excellent communication, presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills
