About the role

At Rippling, data is at the heart of our business and the Revenue Operations team leverages this data to provide the insights that have made Rippling one of the fastest-growing companies in the world. We are looking for a Senior Sales Strategy Analyst to join our Revenue Operations team. In this role, you’ll act as a primary, trusted business partner to senior sales and executive leadership to build, scale, and operationalize a go-to-market strategy for your dedicated part of the sales organization. This role will be focused on our rapidly growing sales team, providing a high level of exposure to senior leadership, complex problem-solving opportunities, and the autonomy to drive major strategic initiatives.

You will be based in our Bengaluru, India office and will be required to be in the office 3x/week. Shift timings will be 3PM to 12AM.

What you will do

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior sales leadership: Act as a core strategic thought partner for VPs and Directors, fully owning the operational cadence and strategy for your segment of the business.
  • Drive proactive, high-level insights: Design and oversee complex monthly and quarterly reporting frameworks; proactively drive deep-dive ad hoc analysis to identify macro trends, strategic opportunities, and structural problem areas before they surface.
  • Present to executive audiences: Frame complex business problems for the broader sales organization and leadership; confidently communicate data-driven insights, recommend scalable solutions, and own the execution of those solutions.
  • Cross-functional strategic projects: Take full ownership of complex projects from inception to execution, including structuring ambiguous business problems, exploring innovative solutions, implementing rigorous processes, and measuring business impact.
  • Annual planning: Take a driving role in key components of our annual sales planning process, including complex territory modeling, quota capacity planning, and target setting.

What you will need

  • 5+ years of professional work experience in Sales Operations, Sales Strategy, Sales Finance, Consulting, or another related analytical field.
  • Proven track record of partnering with and presenting directly to senior leadership (VP-level and above).
  • Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and navigate ambiguity in a fast-moving startup or hyper-growth environment.
  • Advanced analytical, financial modeling, and conceptual problem-solving skills; ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable executive summaries.
  • Exceptional cross-functional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel / Google G-Sheets skills; strong proficiency with BI Tools (e.g., Tableau, Snowflake) for building out scalable dashboards.
  • Experience with SQL is required (ability to write complex queries to pull and analyze large datasets).
  • Advanced, architectural understanding of Salesforce, and deep familiarity with related Sales tech stack systems (Outreach, Gong, etc.).
