FinOps Analyst

Role Overview

AAB London is hiring a FinOps Analyst to be embedded remotely across multiple UK startups and scaleups. The role involves overseeing finance operations, iterating and improving processes through automation and technology, and collaborating with AAB London’s FinOps teams and partners.

What You Will Do

Own finance operations, including bookkeeping, payroll, month-end processes, VAT, and AP/AR, ensuring accuracy and compliance using Xero and other software. Identify and drive improvements in finance processes/controls and support with new tech implementation.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The role requires a minimum of 3 years experience in finance and accounting, strong knowledge across AP, AR, and month end, and experience in using cloud software such as Xero.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years experience in finance and accounting
• Confident running finance processes independently
• Familiar with UK accounting and tax regulations including VAT and payroll etc
• Experienced in using cloud software such as Xero (strongly preferred)
• Excellent level of English (verbal and written)
