Data Analyst Lead

Role Overview

The Data Analyst Lead will provide specialist expertise and additional capacity to deliver reporting and analytics initiatives, improve data quality and governance, and develop automated reporting solutions that support evidence-based decision-making.

What You Will Do

The Data Analyst Lead will extract, combine and transform data from multiple systems, analyse membership, operational and external data, work with teams to ensure data and insight inform decision-making, and present complex analysis to a range of audiences.

Requirements

• Proven experience extracting, cleansing, validating and transforming data from multiple systems and sources for reporting and analysis.
• Proven experience analysing complex datasets and turning data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Experience using CRM systems for reporting, segmentation, performance analysis and insight generation.
• Strong expertise in Power BI or similar business intelligence tools, including dashboard design, data visualisation and storytelling.
• Experience of data preparation, data modelling and creating reliable datasets for reporting and decision-making.
• Experience building effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders.
• Experience delivering data or insight projects from inception to implementation.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality outputs.
• Strong understanding of GDPR, data protection and information governance.
• Experience with SQL would be advantageous.
