Data Engineer (Puerto Rico)

Collins Aerospace is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join its Data & Analytics team in Puerto Rico. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and infrastructure using latest technologies. The role is hybrid, with the employee working both onsite and offsite. The position requires a university degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience. US citizenship is required.

Requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Experience in data engineering role, with proficiency in designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a background in Snowflake, Matillion, Alteryx, and Tableau or relevant ETL and RDBMS technologies
• Strong SQL skills, including experience with complex queries, joins, and aggregations
• Experience developing dashboards and visualizations using Tableau
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and best practices, with hands-on experience using Matillion or relevant tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
• Experience in agile methodologies and experience as a Data Engineer in a cross-functional agile team
