Material Program Manager, Growth

Role Overview

The Material Program Manager will be responsible for developing and achieving program material delivery and financial performance objectives in a matrixed environment. The successful candidate will be a self-starter capable of executing the Program material strategy at suppliers’ facilities to ensure readiness to support increased rate. The role requires the ability to travel and will work regularly both onsite and offsite.

What You Will Do

The Material Program Manager will coordinate purchase requirements with Engineering, Program Operations Management, and Production Control Planning and Scheduling. They will identify supply gaps and strategies to address, work with PMO, CGO, and program supply chain team to develop and implement material strategies, and participate in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance.

Requirements

• Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
• Experience in supply chain, finance, operations, project management, and/or program management role
• Experience managing supplier performance relative to financials, performance metrics, and/or contract compliance
