Senior Manager, Business Development position available at Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, to identify and pursue business opportunities in the aerospace and defense industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong aviation background, experience in business development, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
Requirements
- University Degree
- Minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- Expert knowledge in all functional aspects of business development
- Detailed understanding and experience with new business capture processes for pursuits greater than $50M
- Strong aviation background with particular emphasis on Air Mobility concepts of operation
- Proven leadership across multiple echelons of organizations with indirect applications
- Experience in the operation, planning, or sustainment of the US Air Force Air Mobility fleets
- Working knowledge of International Affairs and Foreign Military Sales
- Broad contact database to include Air Mobility Command, Air National Guard, Air Force Reserve, Air Force Material Command, United States Transportation Command, Secretary of the Air Force for International Affairs, Headquarters United States Air Force, and US Embassies abroad
- Ability to hold, or with the ability to readily obtain, a US security clearance
