Senior Data Analyst – R&D Portfolio Data Strategy & Insights

Role Overview

As a Senior Data Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining the quality, consistency, and day-to-day management of the infrastructure of reporting data, operations data, and management information systems. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to support seamless data transitions and ensure data quality.

Manage and maintain reporting data infrastructure, standardize and streamline semantics, maintain and validate KPI calculations, advance AI-ready data principles, and collaborate with Master Data Management teams.

Requirements

• Proven 3-5 years’ of experience in data analysis, data management, or business intelligence roles
• Proficiency in data governance, MDM principles and metadata concepts, SQL, Planisware, Snowflake, Informatica, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Strong understanding of semantic layers, business glossaries, controlled vocabulary and ontology concepts, KPI definition management, and of what makes data AI-ready
• Strong ability to work across teams and geographies, with experience partnering with technical and business stakeholders
• Ability to present data clearly to non-technical audiences and to flag clearly where harmonization is needed
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
