Role Overview
Grant Thornton is seeking an Associate Director, FP&A Treasury Lead to join the team. The role will drive cash, capital, and funding planning within FP&A, working closely with the Treasurer, to ensure the firm’s budget and forecasts are supported by a clear view of liquidity and the balance sheet.
What You Will Do
The Associate Director, FP&A Treasury Lead will partner with the Head of FP&A on consolidated budgeting and forecasts, extend the P&L view into an integrated cash flow and balance sheet outlook, and provide funding, debt capacity, and liquidity analysis behind the firm’s long-range plan, capital allocation, growth investments, and acquisitions.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This is a high-visibility, highly analytical role with direct exposure to the CFO, the Head of FP&A, the Treasurer, and New Mountain Capital. The mix of Treasury and FP&A work will shift with the firm’s needs – weighted toward Treasury through the current period of acquisitions and financing activity, and expanding across the broader FP&A agenda as the platform scales.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience across FP&A, treasury, corporate finance, or investment banking, including at least 3 years in treasury
- Deep expertise in liquidity management, credit facilities, and covenant management
- Working knowledge of FX and interest rate exposure and its impact on plans, forecasts, and cost of debt
- Proven track record building integrated cash forecasts linked to three-statement models and planning cycles
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills in multi-entity, multi-currency environments
- Hands-on experience with enterprise planning and consolidation platforms (e.g., Anaplan, OneStream, Adaptive)
- Executive presence and the ability to communicate clearly and credibly with senior leadership, investors, and lenders
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
