Finance Systems Support Officer

Role Overview

The Finance Systems Support Officer will provide day-to-day support to colleagues across the organisation, helping to ensure finance systems run smoothly, users receive excellent support, and data remains accurate and compliant.

What You Will Do

The role involves providing first-line support for finance system users, responding to routine queries, logging and tracking system issues, and supporting the maintenance of finance-related platforms.

Requirements

• Experience in a finance, administration, systems support, data administration, helpdesk or business support role
• Confident user of business systems, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
• Good Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, basic formulas and simple data checks
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow documented processes and maintain clear records
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Able to support users patiently and clearly
• Able to log, track and escalate issues effectively
• Basic understanding of finance processes such as purchase orders, invoices, suppliers, customers, coding, expenses or approvals
• Organised and able to manage routine deadlines and competing requests
• Comfortable working with data, forms, trackers and system records
