Role Overview

The Family Service Counselor serves families by providing exemplary personalized service and plays an essential role in generating revenue for the cemetery as well as acting as the primary contact for families.

What You Will Do

Leads generation, builds relationships with families, and maintains activity levels to ensure productivity. Responds to client inquiries, prepares for appointments, and follows through on customer problems and requests.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must be able to build trust-based relationships, earn referrals, and educate families on the benefits of pre-planning. Must have customer service skills, ability to work evenings and weekends, and drive frequently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of college or an equivalent of education and experience
• 1-2 years of customer service or sales industry experience preferred
• Current state/province issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Insurance license if required by state/province law and as prescribed by each state board

Benefits

• Target Compensation Range: $50,000 to $100,000 annually
