Data Engineer

Role Overview

Sia is recruiting a Data Engineer to accompany the development of the Data Science Business Unit activities. You will participate in Data Science missions at Sia with our clients, accompanying Data Scientists, Software Engineers, and DevOps Engineers in projects with a strong data component.

What You Will Do

You will actively contribute to technological, architectural, and governance choices to face the challenges of scaling data projects. The work will cover data pipelines, infrastructures & services adapted to Machine Learning, Python programming, and Cloud Services.

Why It Might Be a Fit

You have a good level in Python, allowing you to qualify, enrich, and process data. You have experience with distributed computing tools, such as Hadoop or Spark, or you have experience with Machine Learning tools, such as Tensorflow or Torch.

Requirements

• graduate of an engineering school or a high-level training in the field of information technology
• at least 2 years of experience in Data, DevOps, Cloud, or Software Engineering
• good level in Python
• experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQLServer, …)
• experience with distributed computing tools (Hadoop or Spark, …)
• experience with Machine Learning tools (Tensorflow or Torch, …)
• experience with at least one service of a Cloud platform (GCP, AWS, Azure)
