Role Overview

The Financial Planning & Appraisal Manager is accountable for enabling high-quality business decisions through robust planning, performance management, appraisal, forecasting and decision ready insight generation. The role acts as a strategic finance partner to business and finance leadership, translating commercial drivers, operational performance, risks and opportunities into clear financial insights and actionable interventions.

What You Will Do

Lead integrated planning and forecasting, drive performance management, provide business appraisal and decision support, generate actionable options and recommendations, strengthen financial discipline and controls, and partner across the business.

Requirements

• Significant experience in financial planning, appraisal, performance management, business finance or related finance roles
• Proven track record of partnering with senior business stakeholders to influence decisions and deliver measurable business outcomes
• Strong understanding of financial statements, value drivers, planning cycles, forecasting, business case development and performance reporting
• Experience leading teams or influencing cross-functional delivery through matrixed ways of working
• Experience with digital finance tools, data visualisation, automation, analytics or driver-based planning solutions is highly desirable
• Professional finance qualification, accounting qualification, MBA or relevant business/finance degree preferred
