CRO Specialist

Role Overview

The CRO Specialist will own conversion rate optimization across Shero’s Shopify client portfolio, auditing stores, finding drop-off points, and turning data into hypotheses. The role requires a hands-on specialist with ecommerce experience, preferably at an agency, with at least three years focused on CRO.

What You Will Do

The CRO Specialist will audit and diagnose, combining GA4, Shopify analytics, heatmaps, and session recordings to identify friction, drop-off points, and missed revenue. They will write sharp, testable hypotheses, translate findings into plain language recommendations, and wireframe solutions.

Requirements

• Five or more years of ecommerce experience, preferably at an agency, with at least three years focused on CRO
• Strong GA4 skills, including funnel exploration, segments, events, and ecommerce reporting
• Proven experience with heatmapping and session recording tools such as Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, or Lucky Orange
• Experience setting up and running tests on more than one testing platform
• A track record of audits that led to tests, and tests that led to measurable revenue gains
• Ability to create clear wireframes in Figma or a similar tool
• Solid understanding of test statistics: significance, sample size, and when to call a test
• Clear written and verbal communication with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfort using AI tools such as Claude to speed up analysis, audits, and test documentation
