Marketing & Communications Manager

Role Overview

The Marketing & Communications Manager will lead day-to-day marketing and communications for Singularity Defense, from strategy through hands-on execution.

What You Will Do

Develop and execute the marketing and communications strategy, build the Company’s visual brand, own creative production, and ensure all external communications comply with export control requirements.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, or public relations, including meaningful experience within aerospace, defense, government contracting, or another highly regulated industry.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of progressive experience in marketing, communications, or public relations, including meaningful experience within aerospace, defense, government contracting, or another highly regulated industry.
• Demonstrated experience developing go-to-market and communications strategy for technical or complex products.
• Experience building or significantly scaling a marketing function at an early-stage or growth-stage company.
• Working knowledge of export control considerations (ITAR/EAR) as applicable to marketing and public communications, or a demonstrated ability to acquire such knowledge promptly.
• Superior writing, editing, and executive-communication skills, with the ability to translate technical content for varied audiences.
• Experience planning and executing a company’s presence at industry trade shows and conferences.
• U.S. Person status as defined under ITAR (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual), owing to this position’s access to export-controlled information.
