Role Overview
The FP&A Analyst will gather and organize financial data to provide detailed analysis on variances, prepare financial reports, and investigate monthly revenue changes and expenditure increases/decreases. The role will also perform profitability analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, and support commercial business partner support and program support.

Requirements
- Chartered accountant, MBA Finance or an equivalent professional qualification
- Typically 4-7 years of relevant experience in FP&A, commercial finance, business partnering or management reporting
- Experience working in a multi-currency and matrix organisation is advantageous
- Experience supporting project, service, technology, industrial or manufacturing businesses is advantageous
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Advanced or Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, PPT and Word
- Advanced knowledge of software features such as SAP, Smartview/Onyx/CPM
- Understand basic accounting procedures like journal entry creation (including preparation of supporting documents) and review and running basic reports
- Understanding different components of Chart of Accounts (CoA)
- Understand basic accounting principles and concepts and ability to apply them
- Understand basic concepts of budgeting and planning
- Able to manipulate data in Excel; able to identify arithmetical mistakes
- Maintain, reconcile, review, combine and validate moderately complex financial data sets
- Identify, clarify, investigate discrepancies and exceptions
- Resolve transactional inquiries, escalate broader issues
- Run and analyse standard financial reports, often from multiple systems/sources
- Design and perform analyses, incorporating checks and balances to ensure data integrity
- Actively communicate and engage with colleagues to further clarify ambiguity
- Self-starter and able to work independently and yet cohesively with colleagues located in remote locations
