Finance Systems FinOps Analyst

Role Overview

The Finance Systems FinOps Analyst is responsible for financial governance, cost optimisation, vendor management, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial reporting across the Finance Systems application portfolio.

What You Will Do

Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting activities for the Finance Systems portfolio, monitor vendor invoices, purchase orders, accruals, and contract commitments, and maintain accurate records of software, support, hosting, licensing, and managed service costs.

Requirements

• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting capabilities
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modelling and data analysis
• Experience managing vendor spend, software contracts, or service agreements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and financial accuracy
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience producing management reports, dashboards, and business insights
