Financial Planning Analyst Intermediate

Role Overview

The Financial Analyst supports the day-to-day management of the department’s financial plan, budgets, forecasts, O&M accounts, commissions, and After Tax Margin calculations, and monitors operational performance against these measures.

What You Will Do

Perform financial and operational modelling, leverage Business Intelligence tools to analyze and optimize Sales performance, and provide business analysis support to identify opportunities and positively impact growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience
• Master’s degree with 0 years of relevant experience
• Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Two or more years’ experience in performing financial or operational analysis and reporting, in a sales environment is preferred
• Advanced to expert level of use of Microsoft Office Suite of applications, specifically Excel, (including pivot tables and charts), Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
• Basic Understanding of financial statements
• Exposure to using Business Intelligence dashboards to analyze and optimize performance
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Superior attention to detail
• Demonstrated time-management and multi-tasking skills coupled with a keen ability to prioritize assignments
• Demonstrated ability to collect, synthesize, and present data from multiple enterprise systems
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Experience working with senior decision makers
