Data Analyst

Role Overview

The Data Analyst will collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and business insights. They will work with different departments to understand business requirements and prepare reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.

What You Will Do

The Data Analyst will perform data validation, ensure data accuracy and consistency, and identify business trends to provide actionable insights. They will also develop interactive dashboards using Power BI or Tableau and write SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Charts)
• Proficiency in SQL queries, joins, subqueries, and aggregations
• Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau for dashboard development
• Basic knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy) is an added advantage
• Understanding of data cleaning, data transformation, and data modeling
• Knowledge of statistical concepts and data analysis techniques
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and present findings
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
• Understanding of KPIs, business metrics, and reporting
• Good analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
