Data Engineer

Role Overview

As a data engineer, you will play a crucial role in creating value from data by building our new data platform together with the rest of the team. You will be part of setting the foundation for SPP’s future development.

What You Will Do

You will be responsible for building new technical solutions and changing the culture around how data is produced and consumed. You will also be part of an engaged team and have great opportunities to influence and develop in your role.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in similar roles, preferably with some experience in the banking or insurance industry.
• Experience of dimension modeling.
• Experience of working with CI/CD and DevOps as well as very good knowledge of SQL.
• Experience of designing and developing new technical solutions within data as well as replacing old ETL code with ELT.
• The ability and drive to act on your own initiative and get things done.
• Good teamwork skills.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
