AI Automation Lead (Remote)

Role Overview

The AI Automation Lead will work with a growing Australian renewable energy company to build smarter systems using AI and automation. The role involves hands-on build work, not IT management or strategy-only work. The candidate will report to the Managing Director and learn how the business runs, identify repetitive manual work, and build practical AI-powered workflows to remove it.

What You Will Do

The AI Automation Lead will automate job creation and project handovers, build workflows between Pylon and ServiceM8, automate material and procurement tracking, set up automatic reminders, and produce automatic project status updates.

Requirements

• Strong, hands-on ChatGPT and OpenAI experience

• Working knowledge of APIs, webhooks, data structures, and automation tools
• A strong grasp of business process improvement
• The ability to manage a project from idea through to launch and ongoing improvement
• Clear communication, and comfort working directly with management and operational teams
• Good judgement about AI
