Role Overview
The Market Business Development Specialist will be responsible for extensive customer contact, processing transactions, and selling additional Bank products while protecting Bank assets. The role requires extensive product knowledge to support frequent customer contact in the development of new business through the servicing of requests, calling on existing customers, identifying and calling on potential customers, and representing the Bank in community activities.
What You Will Do
The responsibilities include maintaining an extensive knowledge of deposits, loans, and non-deposit services, selling multiple financial products and services to new and existing customers, identifying sales opportunities, and cross-selling other Bank services. The role also involves fostering collaborative relationships with eBiz Specialists, support staff, and the Small Business Banking department, and developing an understanding of loan products and services to effectively match customer needs with lending solutions.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or equivalent education/work experience
- Two-four years previous financial institution/customer service experience
- Good interpersonal/team skills with ability to develop effective working relationships
- Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- Previous personal/computer experience
- A valid driver’s license
