Role Overview
The Principal Data Analyst will use an analytic perspective to drive business research and reporting, identifying meaningful questions and generating business recommendations. The role will manage questions from conception to delivery of solutions to stakeholders.
What You Will Do
The analyst will drive data-driven decision making, perform thorough investigations, manage ad-hoc data requests, convey complex analytic concepts, and create user-friendly Tableau reporting.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, operations research, statistics, business analytics, or a related quantitative field
- 5+ years of experience in a business intelligence, operations research, or statistical analytics role
- 5+ years of demonstrated fluency in SQL query writing
- 5+ years of experience with Tableau or similar BI analytics platform
- Strong data storytelling skills
- Proficient in creating impactful presentations in Powerpoint
- Some experience in constructing machine learning models and applying advanced data science techniques
- Python, R, or other quantitative programming language skills
- Excellent interpersonal, project management, and communication skills
- Experience in self-storage, hotel, airline, real estate, or similar field
