Role Overview

The Data Analyst plays a central role in data-driven decision-making at Sun Life Canada Operations and in establishing analytical excellence standards.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of experience in analytics technologies
• SQL and other languages used in data interrogation and manipulation
• Tableau or other strategic watch development tools
• Methods, software, and statistical analysis
• Proven experience in data visualization and user-experience-focused decision-support tools.
• Excellent communication skills, and proven experience in transmitting complex concepts to non-technical users through presentations and storytelling.
• Proven ability to respond to complex questions by searching, collecting, and synthesizing information from multiple sources.
• Proven ability to adapt the message to diverse audiences by providing the appropriate level of detail and compelling analyses.
• Proven curiosity and willingness to understand the functioning of multiple organizations and discover and collect data to answer questions.
