Role Overview
The M&A Business Development Market Manager is a vital position within the group that works collaboratively across functions to identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities. The role involves immersing yourself in the industrial distribution arena to evaluate acquisition opportunities within focused technology sectors.
What You Will Do
Develop a deep understanding of industrial Fluid Power, Fluid Conveyance, Automation, and Fluid Process distribution; evaluate acquisition targets; manage the entire transaction process; and lead or participate in the post-acquisition performance management process.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or sales
- 3 – 5 years of buy-side experience in identifying target companies and initiating buy/sell process in Mergers and Acquisitions
- 10+ years of experience within Industrial Distribution, with demonstrated experience in Fluid Process (pumps, valves, instrumentation, process controls, flow technologies), or related industrial technology markets
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office tools such as Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Proficient internet research skills utilizing relevant tools, applications and services
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to travel minimum of 50% of the time
