The Vice President, Business Development & Innovation is a senior leadership role responsible for driving Symcor’s long-term strategic growth through enterprise innovation and the expansion of professional services.
Requirements
- Lead the identification, validation, and incubation of Horizon 3 growth opportunities that align with Symcor’s long-term strategic vision.
- Conduct ongoing market scans and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies, emerging business models, and new revenue opportunities.
- Develop and present compelling, data-driven business cases to executive leadership to secure investment, sponsorship, and enterprise alignment.
- Oversee Symcor’s enterprise-wide internal innovation program, driving employee engagement, experimentation, and measurable business outcomes.
- Coach and support cross-functional innovation teams throughout the lifecycle of ideation, testing, and validation.
- Establish success metrics and track the cultural, financial, and strategic impact of innovation initiatives across the organization.
- Expand and evolve Symcor’s professional services portfolio by identifying new service opportunities based on market needs and client demand.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Sales, and Delivery teams to design, launch, and continuously refine professional service offerings.
- Build and lead cross-functional teams to pilot and test bold, future-oriented concepts through minimum viable products and controlled experiments.
- Assess initiative performance using market feedback, operational readiness, and strategic fit, refining direction as needed.
- Prepare validated initiatives for transition to the Product organization with clear scaling plans, documentation, and handoff processes.
- Provide strategic advice, insights, and recommendations to senior executives on innovation, growth opportunities, and enterprise transformation.
- Represent Symcor externally with clients, partners, vendors, and at industry events and innovation forums.
- Champion a culture of innovation, experimentation, and future-readiness across Symcor through leadership engagement and internal advocacy.
