Business Development Manager

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager drives Sysco’s market position and financial growth by acquiring new business through strategic planning, advanced analytics, and effective contract negotiation.

What You Will Do

Manage a robust sales pipeline, prioritize opportunities, develop creative sales plans, lead new business acquisition efforts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to address prospect concerns.

Requirements

  • Ability to express information in terms of profit and loss, food cost, and expense ratios.
  • Strong financial acumen and business planning skills.
  • Adaptability and openness to new ideas and change.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • 5+ years of experience
