Financial Analyst – Sygma – US

Role Overview

The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing critical financial information in the consolidated and entity-level financial statements. This information is delivered in the form of journal entries, monthly closing activities, account reconciliations, and accounting analysis for SYGMA in accordance with GAAP, SYSCO and SYGMA policies.

What You Will Do

Perform weekly/monthly gross margin analysis, resolve discrepancies, perform financial statement review, prepare journal entries, and produce reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 2 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or related field in a large organization
• CPA and Food Service Industry background a plus
• Demonstrated knowledge and skill with PC and ERP systems (Infinium/AS400 Query helpful) and advanced Excel skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers
• Proven ability to produce timely and accurate results
• Strong technical and organizational skills
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Ability to deal with high pressure situations and deadlines
