Senior Data Analyst

Role Overview

The successful candidate will play a key role in data-driven decision-making by leveraging advanced data analysis, producing reports, and optimizing data management processes.

What You Will Do

Collaborate with management to define data requirements, lead and coordinate data analysis activities, develop refined graphs and dashboards, and create data-driven solutions to optimize processes and performance.

Requirements

• at least six to nine years of experience
• diploma from a college or university program of three years or more, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• expertise in a specialized discipline or extensive experience in various areas
• deep understanding of fundamental statistical concepts and data analysis techniques
• proficiency in standard computer applications (Microsoft Office suite) and especially in Excel
• proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and optimization
• advanced experience and skills in data visualization techniques (e.g. Power BI)
• experience in Python or R for data manipulation, automation, and statistical analysis
• familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.)
• understanding of ETL (extraction, transformation, and loading) processes and data pipeline automation
• best practices in data management, including data quality, data cleaning, normalization, metadata management, privacy protection, and security governance
• ability to identify complex problems, analyze interdependent factors, evaluate and mitigate risks, and develop solutions using specialized skills
• communication skills and ability to influence people by seeking their perspectives, understanding their needs, and providing information to achieve consensus
