Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Accountant

Role Overview

The FP&A Accountant will support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting across the business. Working closely with stakeholders at all levels, the FP&A Accountant will transform financial and operational data into meaningful insight, develop forecasting models, analyse business performance, and support strategic and commercial initiatives.

What You Will Do

The FP&A Accountant will perform tasks such as developing and maintaining budgeting, forecasting, and planning models, forecasting lending balances, net interest income, EIR/fee income, and portfolio profitability, producing monthly management reporting, performance analysis, and forecast updates, and supporting ad hoc financial analysis and strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Experience within Financial Services, Banking, Consumer Lending or FinTech
• Experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Management Accounting or Finance Business Partnering
• Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical skills, including experience developing and maintaining forecasting models
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience using SQL and Power BI
• Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
• Experience producing management reporting and variance analysis
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
