Data Engineer II

Role Overview

This Data Engineer II role involves providing a broad range of data engineering functions, including data modeling, data quality, data profiling, data acquisition and ingestion, and other specialized data management functions. The successful candidate will work closely with technology teams to ensure overall delivery success and will be responsible for designing and developing complex data models and ETL jobs.

What You Will Do

The Data Engineer II will perform data analysis and assess data management requirements for a specific Platform or Journey, maintain expert knowledge of upstream data, support the acquisition and ingestion of data, and articulate complex technical design and development details to non-technical business partners.

Requirements

• Degree, Postgraduate Degree, or Technical Certificate in Data Management or related discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering), or equivalent practical experience
• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in SQL, PySpark, ADF, Python, ETL, SQL server, SSIS
• 5 years’ experience with large SQL data marts preferred
• Expert relational database experience
