Business Development Manager

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager is responsible for executing the suppliers’ strategy, developing deep relationships with key people in the supplier organization & partners, and maximizing revenue, Net Gross Profits, and Customer satisfaction.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include creating and implementing supplier/vendor specific initiatives, channel partner and vendor engagement, execution of credit management, order processing, and AR collections, and operational excellence in pipeline management, forecasting, and inventory management.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant work experience, a Master’s or Postgraduate Degree with a Sales Field of Study, and strong organizational and time management skills. They will be able to execute instructions, communicate clearly, and negotiate skillfully.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of relevant work experience
• Master’s / Postgraduate Degree with Sales Field of Study preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree with Technical / Business field of study required
• Basic clerical and data entry skills
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Ability to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency
• Ability to communicate clearly and convey necessary information
• Ability to converse and write effectively in English and a local language
• Ability to create and conduct formal presentations
• Ability to negotiate skillfully, promote/sell ideas persuasively, and close transactions with mutually beneficial results
• Strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion
• Ability to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines
• Ability to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Ability to build solid, effective working relationships with others
• Ability to exhibit ability to be sensitive to the needs, concerns, and feelings of others
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and technology
• Ability to use relevant computer system applications at a basic level
