Role Overview

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to assist customers with product selection, sales orders, quotes, invoices, returns, payments, and deliveries.

What You Will Do

Assist customers in person, over the phone, and by email, answer product questions, prepare quotes and sales orders, and coordinate customer orders and deliveries.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• One to three years of inside-sales or customer-service experience
• Experience in construction, industrial sales, plumbing, distribution, or a related industry is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate professionally in English
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience with Sage ERP or another computer-based ordering system is helpful
• Mechanical or technical aptitude is preferred
• Ability to learn technical products and their applications
• Strong problem-solving and customer-service skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Ability to maintain accuracy when preparing documents and entering information
