Cloud Financial Operations Analyst

Role Overview

Tecsys is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cloud Financial Operations Analyst to join our team. As a FinOps Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our Product and Technology department’s finances and operations.

What You Will Do

Analyze financial and operational performance data to identify trends and drive strategic decision making. Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support financial planning and budgeting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent degree and experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, with a strong interest into accounting and financing; OR Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent degree and experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, with a strong interest into computer science, cloud technologies and cloud provider.
• 1+ years relevant experience as an Information Technology or Finance professional managing IT.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure and public cloud concepts.
• Ability to establish IT cost management strategies, models, processes, and tools
• Understanding of cloud billing practices and procedures
• Advanced knowledge and skills in Excel and PowerPoint;
• Interpersonal, consultative and facilitation skills, coupled with analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong proficiency in both written and verbal English communication essential for effective correspondence with clients, suppliers, business partners, and colleagues beyond the province of Quebec.
