Senior Salesforce Developer

Role Overview

The Senior Salesforce Developer role is to design technical architecture solutions that span multiple Salesforce Clouds and include integration and authentication across systems. The role will manage the development lifecycle to ensure the delivery of highly secure solutions that are optimized for performance and built to scale.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include collaborating with the Functional team, providing expert platform knowledge, providing knowledge and guidance on Salesforce security best practices, and owning the End to End Technical Solution on the project.

Requirements

• 8-10 years’ experience in CRM implementation, consulting or technical lead role, with at least 6 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce developer, or similar roles
• Salesforce Certifications essential
• Very strong in SF Design, Code, Integration, Migration etc
• Experience in building applications on force.com platform
• Extensive experience delivering solutions on the Salesforce platform
• Extensive experience in developing & configuration SFDC Apex classes, Visualforce pages, workflows, Lightning, LWC
• Deep understanding of the architectural principals of web-based platforms including SaaS, multi-tenancy, multi-tiered infrastructure and application servers
• Very Strong SFDC knowledge and Integration components for SFDC (SFDC APIs, Apex controllers, Apex Web Services, Apex callout, outbound messaging, SFDC data loaders, etc.)
• Strong technical foundation including; Advanced structured programming – APEX, Force.com, .Net, Java, etc., understanding of RDMS concepts and structures, knowledge of SQL, structured system analysis and design methods, etc.
• Degree level IT qualifications in Software or Systems Engineering
• Experience with Salesforce Agentforce, Einstein AI, Prompt Builder, Copilot Studio/Agent Builder, and AI-enabled Salesforce capabilities.
• Understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector search, and AI application architectures.
• Experience designing and implementing AI-powered business workflows and autonomous agents.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, prompt templates, grounding strategies, and AI response evaluation techniques.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with AI platforms such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, or similar cloud AI services.
• Understanding of AI governance, responsible AI principles, data privacy, security, and compliance considerations.
• Ability to identify and translate business opportunities into practical AI use cases that deliver measurable business value.
