Business Development Manager – Energy & Utilities | Telematics

Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to take ownership of the Energy & Utilities sector across the UK & Ireland and drive new business growth for Teltonika’s Telematics portfolio. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build and grow the Energy & Utilities vertical, developing relationships with senior stakeholders and creating new commercial opportunities across the sector.

What You Will Do

In this role, you will take ownership of developing and growing the Energy & Utilities vertical within the UK & Ireland, contributing to the company’s overall growth strategy. You will identify, engage, and close high-value opportunities, build and manage a strong pipeline through outbound and strategic networking, and deliver consultative sales conversations.

Requirements

• Proven success in B2B business development / Technical Consulting
• Strong track record of winning new business and closing deals
• Strong connections and experience within the UK and/or Irish Energy & Utilities sectors
• Experience in one or more of the following: Telematics / vehicle / asset tracking solutions, Internet of Things (IoT) / connectivity, Networking infrastructure
• Confident in outbound prospecting and building pipeline from scratch
• Commercially driven with a strong focus on revenue and growth
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• English language skills (both written and spoken)
• A willingness to travel nationally to meet prospective clients and close new business
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
