Role Overview

The Marketing Brand Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing and communications initiatives that support organizational goals and enhance brand awareness. This position manages projects and strategic marketing campaigns, oversees content development and production, and creates clear, effective written communications for a variety of audiences.

What You Will Do

The Marketing Brand Manager will facilitate all marketing and communication requests for MBA programs within Mays Business School, act as primary contact for advertising agency initiatives, develop brand strategies, and work with third-party agencies to execute against each strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field.
  • Five years of experience in communications, digital marketing or marketing field.
  • Experience working with or for advertising agencies.
  • Outstanding verbal and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively plan and execute short and long-term projects.
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated experience across a broad array of marketing channels.
  • Proven ability to work in email marketing, print materials, writing, social media management, web content management, publications and campaign management.
  • Ability to communicate ideas and concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizations skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to make presentations of ideas.
  • Strong initiative, commitment to lifelong learning and willingness to ask questions.
  • Ability to bring fresh ideas, individual voice and enthusiasm to the team.
  • Ability to balance multiple, simultaneous priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Ability to work as a motivated self-starter.
