Financial Analyst I-II

Role Overview

The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) is seeking a Financial Analyst I-II to perform complex financial analysis and regulatory work. The successful candidate will work under general to limited supervision, with moderate to considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement.

What You Will Do

The Financial Analyst I-II will review and analyze financial applications, conduct security analysis, and determine financial capacity of loan applicants. They will also participate in outreach efforts to promote TWDB financing programs and represent the Board and its programs to citizen groups and governmental agencies.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, and 2-7 years of financial analyst and/or regulatory experience. They will also have knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations relevant to the Application Department – Credit Review Department.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Two years of financial analyst and/or regulatory experience for Financial Analyst I, and seven years of financial analyst and/or regulatory experience for Financial Analyst II.
