Role Overview
The Financial Analyst will serve as a key member of the LBJ Finance team, providing financial, budgetary, and operational support to faculty, staff, center leadership, and school administration. The position is responsible for financial analysis, budget management, center financial administration, reporting, and business operations that support the School’s academic, research, and public service mission.
What You Will Do
The Financial Analyst will partner with LBJ center leadership and affiliated programs to support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation. They will monitor budgets, revenues, expenditures, and funding distributions to ensure fiscal compliance and accountability.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Five years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, accounting, financial operations, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience developing budgets, forecasts, financial reports, and analytical data summaries
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, analysis, and reporting
