Senior Data Engineer

The Senior Data Engineer will lead the design, development, deployment, and operational ownership of scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions in a cloud environment, ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability. The role requires 5+ years of related experience in Cloud development, strong programming skills in Python, and experience designing and operating scalable, production-grade data pipelines.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience in Cloud development
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience designing and operating scalable, production-grade data pipelines
• Experience designing data models that support reporting, analytics, and downstream data products
• Experience using source control systems (GitLab, GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience building, maintaining and using container technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS Fargate
• Experience working with IAC, such as Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK
• Experience in SQL (Postgres, Snowflake, etc.) and understanding of trade-offs between different data storage systems and architectures
• Experience with scripting using BASH, or SHELL
