The Senior Manager, Corporate Communications – Mainland China will lead the development and execution of integrated corporate communications strategies that support business growth, protect and enhance corporate reputation, and deepen stakeholder relationships for The Walt Disney Company in Mainland China.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Affairs, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 12–15+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, media relations, or journalism, preferably within media, entertainment, technology, or consumer‐facing industries.
- Deep understanding of the Mainland China media, consumer and government landscape, with established senior‐level stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated experience leading issues and crisis communications in complex, high‐stakes environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin Chinese and English.
- Experience working effectively in a matrixed, multinational organization, with the ability to influence across levels and functions.
- Strong strategic thinking, sound judgment, and ability to operate with discretion under pressure.
